Help Us Ship Supplies to Ukraine Veterinarians!!

Hello Veterinary Colleagues,

As we all know the animal refugees in Ukraine are in dire need. The trauma from war has been immense and large numbers of abandoned shelter animals were left to die alone or starve on the streets. The situation is as bad as you have all seen in the news and on social media, etc.

Right now, the only true boots on the ground group going in and offering aid is a US based group called K9 Global Rescue (www.k9globalrescue.org). Jon Barocas and his team are a 100% volunteer, 501C3, whose mission is to provide aid to the veterinarians and shelters on the front lines of this war.

K9 Global is actively delivering hundreds of pounds of meds and supplies directly to shelters and veterinary clinics, many of whom have been shelled and nearly destroyed, since buying medical supplies in Europe is astronomically expensive.

Veterinarians can help directly by raising funds and donating the extra, short dated or expired meds and supplies. The meds you donate or purchase for this effort will go directly to K9 Global Rescue who will deliver it straight to all the animals and veterinarians in need.

No administrative fees taken out, no additional expenses aside from shipping. This is a donation that will help these animals now.

So, I am asking all of you to donate any meds and supplies on the list below – whether you purchase them or donate – you can either ship them to me and I will ship them to K9 Global Rescue in Denver or you can send them directly to John Barocas c/o K9 Global Rescue at:

7917E Mexico Ave

Denver, CO

80231

These meds and supplies CAN BE EXPIRED OR SHORT DATED.

If you want to donate to shipping, you can click below and your donation is tax deductible! No amount is too small!!!

In only the last few months, we at the MVMA have already donated hundreds of pounds of meds to Ukraine. Imagine if every practice in every state could do the same? I have seen people make a huge difference in the lives of animals in need when we work together as veterinarians helping each other across the globe.
